Multi-Signature (Multi-Sig) Wallet on Liminal is leveraging the robust security features of Trezor and Ledger hardware devices.
This guide is organized into specific sections, each designed to walk you through the essential phases of creating a Multi-Sig Wallet, from linking a hardware device to setting up a Multisig Wallet.
Link a Hardware Device
Before linking a hardware device to Liminal Vaults, it is essential to first configure your hardware device by consulting the respective guides Trezor and Ledger.
Upon successful configuration, proceed with the following steps to link your hardware device to the Liminal Vault:
1️⃣ Log into the Vaults User Interface using your credentials.
Locate the "Link a Device" option in the profile dropdown menu.
2️⃣ In the pop-up window, select the type of hardware device you have: Trezor or Ledger.
3️⃣ Choose the protocols you wish to link with your hardware device.
4️⃣ Connect your hardware device to the computer.
Follow the on-screen instructions to authenticate your hardware device,
then click the "Link Device" button to link your digital assets accounts.
5️⃣ Approve permission to list applications directly from the hardware device.
A confirmation message will indicate that your device is now successfully linked.
6️⃣ Navigate to the "Devices" section within your profile and click on "Manage" to view and control the protocols linked to your device.
