How to Delink/Unlink a Hardware Device (Ledger or Trezor)?

There can be cases where you want to delink or unlink your hardware devices from your account. This guide is designed to streamline that flow.
This process can only be performed with assistance from our support team.

? Follow these three simple steps:


Step 1️⃣ : Request Initiation ?

To initiate the delinking process, you have two convenient options:

1️⃣ Send an Email:

Compose an email to support@lmnl.app with the subject "Device Delinking Request

Please include the following information in the email:

  • Your registered email address with Liminal.

  • Specify the hardware device (Ledger, Trezor) you want to delink.

  • Mention your reason for delinking, if desired.

2️⃣ Chat Support:

Alternatively, you can reach out to us via the chat support option available on our platform. Our support team will guide you through the delinking process.



Step 2️⃣ : Request Processing ?

Once we receive your delinking request, our support team will promptly review and initiate the process to unlink your device.


Step 3️⃣ : Confirmation ✅

You will receive a confirmation email once the hardware device has been successfully delinked from your Liminal account.

Delinking a hardware device is an important security measure. 

Ensure that the delinking request is initiated by the account owner or an authorised party for proper verification.
