Liminal User Roles and Responsibilities

Understanding the responsibilities and permissions of each role is crucial for maintaining a secure and efficient workflow. Here's a breakdown:

 Team Roles

For effective wallet management, you can create teams in Liminal.

A team consists of two sub-teams. 1) Initiators 2) Signers

  • Initiators - Initiators are responsible for initiating a transaction or starting a transaction on a given wallet.

  • Signers - Once the transaction is started by initiators, the signers can come in and sign the transaction using the appropriate signing devices.

Notes:

  • Any Member including Admin and Owner can be added as an initiator or signer.

  • To be added as a signer, you must have the signing device set up. eg: Mobile or Ledger

  • Team roles are restricted only to the wallet the team is assigned to.
